    Pet Sitting

    Thames Pet Sitters
Pet sitting work offers the chance to break from your usual routine, and you will also save on utility bills.  You must be a non-smoker, have your own transport, and be able to work approximately three to six months of each year.  There would usually be breaks in between

each sit, but should you want to work more frequently this is possible too.  Experience with

dogs, and ideally other pets, is essential.  We have a wide range of clients and all expect the very best of care, so our reputation cannot

be compromised. You must be active, versatile and able to cope in an emergency. The client's property must not be left unoccupied

for more than two hours per day, and never after 5pm each evening, unless by prior arrangement. However, dog walking duties are not

included in your two hours, so you will still have ample opportunity to explore your new surroundings.  Do you fit the criteria, below?

    • Honest, reliable and trustworthy.
    • Self-employed.
    • Fit, active and a non-smoker.
    • Experience with dogs, cats and other animals, and a passion for animal welfare
    • Have your own insured and reliable transport
    • Available for both and long short term sits (sits are usually between 2 nights and 3 weeks), for at least 12 weeks per year.
    • Neat, tidy and respectful in the client's home.
    • Supply us with at least two personal/professional references, CRB check or Criminal Disclosure and proof of your own Public Liability insurance.  We will send the information you need to fulfil these requirements.
    Benefits:
    • You can enjoy a variety of locations, homes and animal friends.
    • While you are away from your own home you are saving money on utility bills.
    • You are able to enjoy and care for dogs and other animals without the full time commitment of ownership.
    • Most of our clients return time and time again - you will have the opportunity to build long term relationships with your clients and their pets.
